Red Rhino

Red Rhino Networks was undergoing a full rebrand, led by Skyrocket Digital, and their website needed to keep up. That’s where I came in. As part of the team, I took charge of developing the new website in Webflow, integrating HubSpot for mailing lists, and making sure their SEO was on point with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixels.

Project Overview:

Red Rhino Networks is a Vancouver-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) that wanted to step up their game and reposition themselves as a top-tier IT solutions provider. The team at Skyrocket Digital took care of the project. Once the UX designer finalized the layout and the visual designer crafted the branding, that’s where I came in—translating their vision into a fully functional and interactive Webflow site. The goal was simple: make sure their digital presence matched their bold new direction, making them more appealing to small and medium-sized businesses.

Project Scope:

This wasn’t just a simple redesign—it was a full-blown transformation. The site needed to be fully responsive, easy to manage, and deeply connected to Red Rhino’s new messaging. We focused on:

  • Building a slick, responsive Webflow site.
  • Integrating HubSpot for seamless email marketing and lead capture.
  • Setting up SEO tools and analytics tracking to ensure visibility.
  • Making the CMS as user-friendly as possible for the client.
  • Bringing the new brand identity to life with interactive elements.

Unique Features:

One of the things that makes this website special is how alive it feels. We didn’t just slap a new coat of paint on it—we made sure every interaction felt smooth and engaging. Some key highlights:

  • Dynamic CMS Integration: We made it easy for Red Rhino to update and manage their content without breaking anything.
  • Smooth Microinteractions: Subtle animations and transitions make the site feel polished and modern.
  • HubSpot Integration: Signing up for their mailing list is now seamless and hassle-free.
  • SEO & Analytics Setup: From Google Analytics to Facebook Pixels, we made sure they have all the insights they need.

Technology Stack:

To make all of this happen, we used:

  • Webflow for development
  • WebTricks for added functionality
  • HubSpot for lead generation and email marketing
  • Custom JavaScript & CSS to fine-tune interactions and styling

Challenges & Solutions:

Every project has its hurdles, and this one was no different.

1. Information Architecture: Making sure the site was easy to navigate while still reflecting the new brand was a big challenge. Luckily, our UI/UX designer nailed it, creating a structure that made information easy to find and digest.

2. Branding Consistency: Translating the new branding into a functional and visually appealing website was another challenge. Thanks to our Visual Designer, we ensured the site wasn’t just good-looking but also user-friendly and aligned with Red Rhino’s new identity.

Results & Impact:

It’s still early days, so we don’t have hard numbers yet. But the launch was a big moment. The website went live during an online event where Red Rhino unveiled their entire new brand. As the event rolled on, the old website was seamlessly replaced with the new one in real time. It was a smooth transition, and Red Rhino is already getting great feedback.

Post-Launch Support:

We didn’t just build the site and walk away—we made sure Red Rhino had everything they needed to make the most of it. This included:

  • Custom Landing Page Templates: Giving them flexibility while staying on-brand.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: Covering everything from CMS management to custom scripts.
  • Ongoing Support: Because even the best websites need a little tweaking over time.

Final Thoughts:

This project was a great mix of branding, UX, and technical development, all executed by the internal team to ensure a cohesive and impactful transformation. We took a fresh brand and turned it into a website that truly reflects what Red Rhino Networks is all about. With a smooth user experience, seamless integrations, and a solid foundation for future growth, they’re now set up for success.
